CORPORATE TRAINING


Sydney Mindfulness Training has been working with corporates, individuals and groups  for over 10 years, teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Our aim is to encourage and support course participants to be mindful - that is, to be fully present in work, relationships and life.

Course Options

Two Hour Introduction
This is a “taster” of mindfulness and meditation practices. Course participants will be taught a number of techniques to calm the mind which, if applied, will be of value in any stressful enviroment.

Half Day
Overview of mindfulness. Participants will be introduced to a number of different meditation and mindfulness techniques. Skills that can be incorporated into daily life.

Full Day
This course offers a more in-depth understanding of mindfulness and the stress response and reactivity process. Participants will develop the ability to observe behaviour and start to develop skills to choose better responses and thereby reduce their stress levels. Participants are introduced to calming meditation and mindfulness techniques and learn skills to reduce stress in their daily work schedule. 

8-Week Mindfulness Training
The MBSR program involves 8 one–two hour sessions (to be discussed), taking place over eight weeks. Mindfulness is a non-judgmental approach to paying attention to the present moment. By practicing mindfulness you can change the way you think about your experiences.

MBSR is a clinically proven program program that offers a set of powerful practices that can be incorporated into daily life to help break the cycle of anxiety, stress, unhappiness, and exhaustion. Those who have taken a course in MBSR report feeling more engaged in their work and relationships, more energised and less anxious. They report sleeping better and have fewer physical symptoms of stress. With the MBSR program you are invited to learn how to transform your relationship to the way you think, feel, love, work, and play.

This highly participatory, practical course includes:

  • Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation

  • Gentle stretching and mind-body awareness exercises

  • Group discussion aimed at increasing awareness in everyday life

  • Essential daily home practices that concretise the benefits

  • Techniques that can be practised anywhere, anytime, to fit into your lifestyle

  • A workbook, selected readings and a series of guided meditation

  • Access to the teacher for questions and guidance throughout the 8 week course
